    The first lookup of an account takes about 10 to 20 seconds while every highlight and its stories load. A repeat lookup within a day is much faster.

What a highlights lookup shows

Highlights are stories an account has pinned to its profile, grouped under a title. This viewer reads the highlights a public account shows on its profile and lists each one with its title and the number of stories in it.

Stories play in order, as photos or videos, with the date each was first posted when Instagram provides it. The round cover shown here is the first story’s image, which can differ from a custom cover the account picked. Stickers, links, polls and music are not interactive.

Results are kept for up to 24 hours, so a highlight added or removed after a lookup appears on a later visit. Files come from Instagram through our server, in the quality Instagram serves; nothing is upscaled or edited. Only save or reuse content you own or have permission to use.

A few useful answers

How do I view someone’s Instagram highlights?

Enter the account’s username or profile link above and select View highlights. After about 10 to 20 seconds you’ll see each highlight with its title. Tap one to go through its stories in order.

Can I download Instagram highlights?

Yes. Every story in a highlight has a Save button that downloads the photo or video to your device, in the format and quality Instagram serves, usually JPEG for photos and MP4 for videos.

Will the account know I looked at their highlights?

Highlights are fetched by our server without logging in to Instagram, so your own Instagram account is never involved in the lookup. We can’t see or control how Instagram itself counts views.

Can I see the highlights of an account that isn’t public?

No. This tool only shows highlights that a public account displays on its profile. It never logs in to Instagram and cannot request access to an account.

Why does a highlight look different from Instagram?

The cover here is the first story’s image rather than any custom cover, and stickers, links, polls and music are not interactive. The account may also have changed the highlight since the lookup, which can be up to 24 hours old.

Why are some highlights missing or not loading?

Up to 15 highlights and 600 stories per account are shown. Preview and save links last 30 minutes after a lookup, so if a story stops loading, look the account up again. A story the account deleted can no longer be shown.
