How to Track Unfollowers on Instagram in 2026: Introducing UnfollowersTrack
Track unfollowers on Instagram without sharing passwords. UnfollowersTrack is an Instagram unfollow tracker that shows unfollowers and non-followers.
Key Takeaways
- UnfollowersTrack works with just your public Instagram username and never asks for your password or OAuth access.
- Instagram doesn't notify you when someone unfollows, so the app saves snapshots of your followers list and compares them over time.
- The report shows recent unfollowers, people who don't follow you back, and mutual followers.
- Premium accounts get automatic scheduled scans for hands-free updates.
TLDR

Introduction
Instagram does not notify you when someone unfollows. For creators, small businesses, and everyday users, that missing context makes it hard to understand why your follower count changes.
UnfollowersTrack is built to solve that gap. It shows who unfollowed you, who does not follow you back, and who your mutual followers are, all without requiring your Instagram password.
Why an Instagram Unfollow Tracker Matters
Manual tracking does not scale. Scrolling through followers to spot changes is slow, error-prone, and nearly impossible once you have a few hundred followers.
An Instagram unfollow tracker captures snapshots of your followers list and compares them over time. This gives you a clear, accurate history of unfollows so you can connect changes to specific posts, campaigns, or growth experiments.
How UnfollowersTrack Works
UnfollowersTrack only requires your public Instagram username. After you enter it, the app analyzes your public follower and following lists and compares them to previous snapshots.

Security and Privacy Without Passwords
Many tools ask for Instagram login credentials, which can put your account at risk. UnfollowersTrack avoids that by never asking for your password or OAuth access.
Because the app uses your public username, your credentials stay private, and you stay in control of your account. This makes it a safer way to track followers and unfollowers on Instagram.
